Dance

Okay so I only have time to post a doodle this week, just didn't want to spend my weekend in front of the computer.

If you don't like this piece then fine, let me know what it is that you don’t like if you do like it, that’s great too, just let me know what’s working for you - constructive criticisms are more than welcome…

I like the character and the action. there is definitely a story there. since you ask for constructive criticism, there is one thing that I notice, which is the back wall being so close to the curb makes it look a little like a movie set or something rather than a real street. If you work it up into a more finished piece you could go either way with that - either add more space to "fix" it or accentuate it and bring out the unreal qualities to set a mood. By the way I especially like "Sorry" down at the bottom.

I like it too. As bill said there is a story. What's he thnking? Why is he there? Did he just happen upon the place or was he purposely going there? It would be fun to see it colored. Maybe you'll have time later in the week. Nice job.

Thanks guys,
This is exactly the type of comments I am after. Comments don’t always have to be positive. If you don’t like my style that’s fine just let me know what you think needs improving.
Cheers, Steve.

i love it, i think the character is great. the story is there, and i think it's funny. looks like a clumsy clerk who wants to fulfill his old dream and become a dancer. nice idea.

I like the character and I'm trying to imagine him dancing. Maybe a ballet?

the guy is so funny, and so sad at the same time. His expression [ body and face ] is very good.
