Right, this is an older illo but it seems to fit this week’s topic. Just been so busy of late, what with Webdu animations at work and trying to teach myself Maya during my spear time which is usually the wee hours of the morn’ and let’s not kid anyone here, I was never a great student…

WebDu 2007 Animations

This years WebDu has come and gone and with it the Intro animations which I always have fun working on.

This year we tried to create animations with target two audiences in mind the first being the conference attendees and the other the general public.

We decide that this year instead of two animations (one for each day) we would create a series of short 30 second adverts, turning some of the software into house hold products.

So I finally got to animate in a retro style a parody of 1950’s TVC. Thank god for youtube, my new best friend when it comes to research…

Any how Megan and I both and the rest of the Nectarine team busted our butts to bring you these animations. I had a stack of fun creating them and I hope you have just as much fun watching.
