Wow, at first glance, it's just a cool looking illustration. And upon a deeper look, it's full of sadness and irony. Extremely well thought out and executed.

very sad but great and well thought out illo. I like how the circles of the rainwater repeat the circles in the sun. For me it ties them both together. Even though they opposite it seems neither one is promising. Great job!

This is s super illustration and really well drawn! My view on this is that the man is dressed as if he is trapped on a deserted island like the one in the poster behind him wishing he had water but in reality he is trapped on a deserted bench wishing he had sun. Either way he is not having a good day! And his clothing and situation make it evident that he is in a desperate situation!
